In the framework of the 65th, we want to... prompt people to reflect....to think... dream and revision...then act. This framework of questions will work for any person, any age or background.
Tell us about when you were in school – when, where, what was it like, fellow students, the education, the teachers, neighborhood, family, your sense of who you were and your potential and your understanding of what parents and adults thought of you and potential for your future
Tell us what your understanding was of the vision/accomplishment of Brown v. Board (add in the Civil Rights Act, if you like)
From your point of view, how have things gone in the 65 years since then?
If we were to engage as a community to try to move forward toward the ideal....what would success look like to you? (Different from the past? The same?)
From your observation and/or experience, if you were to offer one piece of advice that could help us be more successful this time, what would that advice be?
